Lilysall Miniature Schnauzer Breeders
Lilysall was established in 1998 by Les and Sheila Harrison who first became passionate about the miniature schnauzer breed because of their first dog ‘Lucy’. Les and Sheila are experienced and prestigious Miniature Schnauzer dog breeders who ensure the perfect and happy pup for it’s new home. Joined by our son John and his family in West London in 2012, we now help people find their best companion whether they be in the North or South!
“We are devoted breeders of the miniature schnauzer based in Yorkshire and West London and breed only from Kennel Club registered stock. We have specialist facilities for breeding our puppies and we take the utmost care and consideration in re-homing the miniature schnauzer puppies. You can find lots of information on our website, but please give us a call if you have any other questions.” – Sheila Harrison
Breeding Miniature Schnauzer Puppies
Here at Lilysall we breed only from Kennel Club Registered Stock and aim to improve the breed through high standards. We ensure the highest standards of welfare for all puppies and their mothers.
When the miniature schnauzer puppies are born and before being re-homed, we ensure that:
- They are checked over by our local veterinary practice
- They are eye-tested with an overall health check according to Kennel-Club guidelines
- They have been wormed regularly from birth
- They are Kennel-Club registered
- They are chipped with your details of choice
- We play with them daily to ensure they are used to children and families and bring them up in a family environment with their mother
Before our puppies go to their new home we ensure that:
- They are fit and well
- They have the following vet checks
- Eye-testing
- Overall health check
As long standing members of the Kennel Club, Les and Sheila Harrison intend to continue their passion for breeding miniature schnauzers into their retirement.
About The Miniature Schnauzer
The average fully grown miniature schnauzer grows from between approximately 12″ – 14″ (30cm – 35cm) high.
- A distinctive looking dog who will always attract attention.
- Very affectionate, but not ridiculously so.
- Intelligent, but also with a modicum of independence.
- Curious, but not destructive.
- Extremely protective. Not a guard dog, but an alarm dog.
- Small in size.
- A non-shedding coat – great for allergy sufferers and house ‘cleaners’.
- Not a smelly dog.
- Happy in any environment – a small flat to a large house.
- Wonderful with children.
- Will tolerate sharing you with a cat or another dog.
- Content to be walked in a small open space or walk for miles.
Miniature schnauzer puppies make fantastic family pets and grow into loving, affectionate dogs. They are an intelligent breed and therefore easily trained.
